“Qui Nguyen didn’t have to deal with the fear of losing as much as the other players because being one of only two remaining amateur players little was expected of him and it’s also likely that he didn’t realize the magnitude of the final table he was at and how it was most likely a once in a lifetime opportunity”.
LOL, Cmon Chirs, almost had to stop reading after this doozy..with this comment you almost throw out all credit for any of his plays
Chris Moorman, keen observations/analyses of player’s mindsets & game flow. Very well written, easily understood & interesting read. It appeared to me Josephy(not to pick on him) approached the final three table with a bit of an ego, particularly, after doubling on first hand (stare downs at Qui, posturing, etc.)& seemed to lose his focus when it counted most.
GREAT READING FROM A GENTLEMAN AND A LEGEND OF POKER
Hey Chris, I just came across your blog. You write well and have some great insights.
I just started a ‘Best of Poker’ series on my blog which aims to feature the best poker content on the web on a monthly basis. I think some of the articles you wrote would make for great pieces. It will help you because your posts will be seen by all of my readers, plus the link backs are great for your site as well.
Feel free to submit any of your posts (old or archived posts are fine) on my blog here: http://www.alectorelli.com/best-of-poker-series-1
Each month the most popular ones will be selected as winners, and I’ll include some of my personal favorites as well. My goal is to showcase the best poker content on a monthly basis and help raise the bar for what the influencers produce.
Thanks for your time, and good luck on the circuit!
