When Doyle Brunson released Super System into the public domain the book was labelled ground-breaking. Some poker pros questioned Brunson’s motives, releasing secrets of the game to the rank amateurs of the world.
In a week’s time, another book is going to become available to the masses and I would suspect that it will be one of the bestselling poker books of its generation. Ironically, Doyle Brunson wrote the foreword to this eagerly anticipated piece of poker literature otherwise known as Moorman’s Book of Poker.
Chris Moorman is the world’s most successful online poker tournament player, one with more than $11 million in cashes stemming from more than 660 top three finishes including 271 outright victories. The British star is no slouch in the live arena either having accumulated more than $4 million in cashes and a World Poker Tour title.
Imagine how amazing it would be to get inside of the head of Moorman and learn how to crush online tournaments like he has for several years. You can stop imagining now because on November 10, 2014, Moorman’s Book of Poker hits the shelves!
Co-written with Byron Jacobs, Moorman gives you a glimpse of his aggressive playing style and helps you to develop your own game. Although we haven’t managed to obtain a copy at UK & Ireland PokerNews yet – so we can’t comment on what awesomeness is among its 384 pages – we do have a 10 seats to Moorman’s book launch at The Vic on Edgware Road on Wednesday 22 October.
The book launch is an invite-only affair and the book’s publishers, D&B Poker, have kindly given us 10 seats to the launch and have said they will give one of those 10 seat winners a signed copy of Moorman’s book!
All you need to do to be in with a chance of winning these superb prizes is either follow PokerNews UK on Twitter and then retweet our tweet about this article, or like PokerNews UK on Facebook and like the Facebook post we create for this article.
