To put the score in perspective, Moorman’s biggest-ever online cash was for $235,000 when he won the Full Tilt Poker $1,000 Monday back in 2011. According to PocketFives, who track online poker tournaments, Moorman has $12.7 million in career winnings, more than anyone else by a solid $3 million.
What’s more, Moorman notched yet another Tripe Crown outside of his Sunday Million score. For those who don’t know, a PocketFives Triple Crown requires a player to win three different online multi-table tournaments across three different sites within a week. In addition, each event must have a minimum of 100 entries and create a prize pool of at least $10,000.
Moorman has now accomplished the incredible feat 25 times, which is nine times more than “PokerKaiser,” who sits second on the all-time list with 16 Triple Crowns.
Moorman’s latest Triple Crown came after he took down Everest Poker’s $77 buy-in iPOPS event for $15,000 on May 8th, which he followed up by winning 888poker’s “The Crocodile” for $6,900 a day later. Then on May 15, Moorman won a PokerStars’ $109 No-Limit Hold’em Turbo for $2,800.
