Chris Moorman has been an elite competitor his entire life. Prior to becoming an accomplished poker player, Moorman naturally excelled at both bridge and pool. Finding bridge at the age of 11, Moorman led England in the national competition. From there he next took up mastering pool and ended up becoming captain of his University of Essex team and eventually winning the National University Championship.
On the way back from one of his pool competitions during his second year at University of Essex he found out about a free online weekly poker tournament and began competing regularly. He immediately fell in love with the game and began working on mastering it. He spent hours playing cash games, trying to understand all of the intricacies of the game.
